Custom templates, training and services
Beyond support, TreeDiM works directly on your library: building templates, converting your drawings, training your teams, tuning machine output. All of these are quoted individually.
Parametric templates built to specification
A standard is missing from your library, or you want a whole range parametrised — packaging, POS displays, stands, inner fittings. TreeDiM builds these templates to specification and delivers them ready to use in your PackLib.
To quote, we need:
- the expected drawing — an existing drawing, a sketch, or the reference of the FEFCO/ECMA standard it derives from;
- the dimensions to make variable — this is what separates a drawing from a parametric template, and it is the core of the work;
- your manufacturing constraints — board thickness and profile, clearances, flute direction, target cutting machine;
- the number of templates involved, if this is a range.

Converting your existing drawings
Many companies hold hundreds of drawings accumulated over the years, scattered across folders, machines and formats. TreeDiM takes them over, parametrises them and organises them into an internal library that every workstation can consult.
The benefit is not merely archiving: once parametrised, a drawing already delivered can be re-derived at new dimensions in minutes. Company know-how becomes a usable resource instead of living in everyone's own files.
The resulting library is shared between workstations through a simple network folder — see Sharing the library across several workstations.
Training in parametric design
TreeDiM is an accredited training organisation and has been delivering training on its software for more than ten years. Content is adapted to the level of the trainees and to the specifics of their trade: courses are tailored to your products and your methods, and can be held remotely or on site, in your own working environment.
Two paths come up most often:
- Getting started with PackLib — browsing the libraries, resizing, exports, organising your own branches.
- Parametric design in Picador — parametric dimensions, formulas between parameters, generating the component and integrating it into PackLib. This is the course that makes a team self-sufficient in creating templates.

Post-processor tuning
The post-processors shipped with the software cover the main cutting formats and machines — CF2, DXF, AI, PLT, ACM, SUMMA, ARISTO, IECHO. They are configurable: tool assignment, route optimisation, layer conventions specific to your workshop.
If your machine is not on the list, or if the files produced need manual rework before going to production, this is a one-off setup — tell us which machine and which format you use, and attach a reference file your table accepts.
