SIGNIFY group (Philips, Interact) chooses treeDiM solutions for the eco-design and optimization of its packaging. Picador™ (CAD) and StackBuilder™ (packing, palletizing, truck loading) software will be deployed on 3 continents within its packaging and supply chain teams. About 30 employees on its various sites will be trained in the coming months.

Optimus has been integrated with the PackLiB© software 

Optimus launches the new module of Packaging Estimating with automatic calculation of imposition of printing, die-cutting, case packing and palletizing, getting packaging manufacturers to meet all the increasingly demanding requirements of their customers, achieving, reducing the time-to- market

Its objective is to develop a solution with Optimus Packaging Estimating and the PackLib technology of Picador (treeDiM), which offers all the necessary functionalities to create a product from start to finish.

This acquisition in Korea by Samsung Electronics confirms the relevance of the solutions proposed by treeDiM in terms of packaging design but especially optimization of the packaging system.
Samsung announced a few weeks ago that it would gradually use recycled or bio-degradable materials for the packaging of all its products and, this year, change its smartphone packaging and opt for recycled paper and paperboard. (samsung global newsroom)
